Coens triumph at Critics' Choice Awards



The Coen Brothers latest film 'No Res publica For Old Men' was the big achiever at the 2008 Critics' Pick Awards in Los Angeles finish night.
The film landed tercet awards including the coveted Best Pic accolade.
Joel and Ethan Coen shared the Topper Director trophy while the Topper Supporting Actor category went to Javier Bardem.
The awards ar precondition out by the Diffuse Celluloid Critics Association and have ofttimes served as a goodness indicator as to wHO may pick up Academy Award nominations afterwards this calendar month.
Unlike the Golden Globes the awards ar not covered by Writer's Social club contracts so they were non affected by the ongoing hit which has forced the cancellation of the prestigious Golden Globe Awards.
Other winners at the event included Daniel Day Lewis, wHO picked up Best Doer for his character in 'There Will Be Blood', and Julie Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie, world Health Organization north Korean won Best Actress for 'Away From Her'.
